Oh boy. You know things are bad when NBC rolls out a reporter to cover the lack of snow at ski resorts in Tahoe for a segment on The Today Show.
There’s still some hope in the air for snow to fall on Tahoe this week, and they really, desperately need it.
I’m typically a fan of Savannah Guthrie (not that you care), but her comment about not needing snow for après ski just rubbed me the wrong way. I know she was joking but uh… hello? You need the ski resorts to have SKIING in order to après SKI, Savannah!
Okay, hand up. That rage was uncalled for. I just had to let out a little bit of the eternal rage I feel for the powers that be that have led us to this climate crisis that some people, somehow, still don’t believe in…🙄
