Every now and then we stumble across a movie trailer that is truly mind-blowing.
“14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible” is a new film coming soon to Netflix. It documents the adventures of a Nepalese mountaineer named Nirmal Purja. The film follows the mountaineer’s attempt to climb all 14 of the world’s 8,000-meter peaks in just seven months. Previously, the fastest recorded time to bag all of these peaks was seven years.
For those who aren’t well-versed in the metric system, these peaks are all over 26,000-feet and the danger is very real. The trailer features shots of bottomless crevasses, avalanches, and lots of suspenseful music. The film is produced by the same folks who made the popular “Free Solo”.
