Meteorologist Chris Tomer is forecasting snowfall in the Rockies over the next 7 days particularly favoring Colorado, Utah, and the PNW.

Snowfall totals won’t be substantial, but the storm marks the unofficial beginning of a consistent flow of wintry weather and cold temps for the region.

It also means perennial early-season favorites like Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, and Keystone should be able to fire up the snow guns overnight as lows are forecasted in the high 20s and low 30s.

There won’t be any sleeper backcountry powder days, yet, but any wintry weather is getting me excited for ski season!
