We’ve seen some rather large bull elk here on Unofficial Networks over the last few weeks, but this guy might take the cake for the largest rack of antlers, and for being the most aggressive.

This video was filmed in Jasper National Park located in Alberta, Canada back in 2018. I’m actually grateful that it was filmed in Canada because it proves that Americans in Yellowstone aren’t the only people stupid enough to get close to a bull elk during the rut.

It doesn’t appear anybody was hurt (thankfully), but things could have really gotten out of hand if this elk decided it wanted to do some damage.

The filmmaker provides some narrative over the footage to provide context. His commentary is a little goofy, but it does help us to understand what was happening in the moment. Important to note that he was filming from a distance using a high zoom lens to capture this video.

PSA: NEVER APPROACH ELK, BUT ESPECIALLY NOT IN THE FALL DURING THE RUT. YOU WILL GET CHARGED!

BOHRERBROS: “ELK ATTACKS PEOPLE AND CARS We were using a 20X zoom while filming people approaching this elk to take pictures, the video makes us appear closer than we actually are. In Jasper National Park we encounter an aggressive Bull Elk attacking people and cars. Very cool to watch, especially in slow motion. If you like the video please consider subscribing”
