Loveland Ski Area’s annual snowmaking countdown clock is nearing completion as there are less than 14 hours remaining at the writing of this blog! Overnight temps look promising, and the ski area benefitted from about an inch of natural snowfall at higher elevations from a storm yesterday.

OpenSnow is reporting overnight lows should reach below 32 degrees at Loveland over the next few days. I wouldn’t be surprised if Loveland’s webcams begin to show some strips of white forming along the trails!

It’s a pretty big deal that snowmaking season is on our doorstep. We could see people skiing and riding at resorts like Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, or Keystone in just a matter of weeks.

Get amped up people. It’s almost ski season!
