Australian TikToker Brodie Moss has been uploading videos recently of sea snakes approaching his paddleboard in search for mates. He describes how the sea snakes get very ‘frustrated’ this time of year, and can sometimes bite humans in their search.

I love how stoked this guy gets to see a huge sea serpent approaching his paddleboard. He has absolutely no fear, and is just in awe of the size of the snake.

I don’t really have a fear of snakes, but I don’t have any intentions of encountering one of these horny sea snakes in my lifetime. Those Aussies are a weird bunch, and I love them for it, but sea snakes are where I draw the line… 😆

sea snakes normally avoid humans but this time of year they become very active, sexually fustrated and potentially aggressive as they look for a mate
