A Hawaiian ocean clean-up non-profit, Ocean Defenders Alliance, discovered a GoPro that was lost over six years ago. The battery was shot, but the SD card was still functional.
The diver was able to export the video recorded when the device was lost, and return it to the original owner. The camera was lost when Nainoa Kamai went cliff-jumping off the Spitting Cave near Honolulu.
Gotta be pretty sweet that a random person would find your GoPro you lost six years ago. I would be soooo stoked to see all of that footage that I thought had been lost forever. Let’s just hope there wasn’t anything sensitive on that SD card…
