We all know Red Rocks, but have you ever stopped and wondered what makes it so special? Sure, it’s obviously beautiful, but doesn’t it feel like there’s something borderline spiritual about it?

CBS This Morning went to Red Rocks earlier this summer to watch a performance by The String Cheese Incident’ performance and took a dive into the history of one of North America’s most famous music venues.

Gotta love how they found the most hippy looking Colorado people to interview for this quick clip. Definitely captures the free-spirited vibe that draws jam bands and their followers to Red Rocks multiple times a year.

CBS This Morning: “Outside of Denver is one of America’s most iconic music venues: a naturally-formed amphitheatre, millions of years in the making, that is today a stunning setting for concerts and yoga sessions. Correspondent Luke Burbank visits Red Rocks, and talks with members of the band The String Cheese Incident about the intensity and acoustics of a Red Rocks set.”
