Let me start this blog by acknowledging that I would still go to this beach despite this terrifying footage of a limestone cliff collapsing. It looks absolutely beautiful with those high cliffs and turquoise waters.

The footage is from Shipwreck Cove on the Greek island of Zakynthos back in 2018. The limestone cliff seems to start breaking apart out of nowhere and causes the beachgoers to flee in fear. Yahoo News reported that multiple boats were capsized and at least one person was injured.

I wonder if they had to put up a sign after this incident… “WARNING- WHILE THIS BEACH IS STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL, YOU ARE AT RISK OF THE THREE HUNDRED FOOT LIMESTONE CLIFFS COLLAPSING ON YOU WHILE YOU SUNBATHE. YOU ACCEPT ALL RISK BY BURYING YOUR TOES IN THE SAND.”
