This summer has started to feel a bit more like the days of old. As businesses have opened back up at full capacity, more and more people are reintegrating  themselves into society. This is especially true in the food and beverage industry whose resurgence has brought society out in droves.

Along with dining out, one major component of fun that was sorely missed during the height of the lock down was live music and festivals. Both also appear to be on the comeback trail. This is particularly true at mountain resorts whose wide open spaces provide the perfect venue for events like these. One such resort is Snowbasin whose Blues, Brews & BBQ festival this Sunday will give you a sneak preview of what’s to come at SnowWiesn this fall.

Snowbasin Bringing Sunday Funday Back

Andy Frasco

Blues, Brews & BBQ was a regular occurrence on Sunday’s at Snowbasin prior to the shutdown. Now it’s back! This Sunday, August 1 Blues, Brews & BBQ returns with music from Andy Frasco & Kris Lager. However, this is only a preview of what’s to come. This fall the Sunday Funday theme becomes German when Snowbasin’s SnowWiesn returns. Equally awesome, SnowWiesn is the premier Oktoberfest themed festival in Northern Utah, and will run Sundays between September 12 and October 3.

Both events will run 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Sundays in conjunction with regular off season operations 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Live Music is Only the Beginning

Live music may be the basis of these two amazing festivals but what’s a Sunday Funday without delicious foods and ice cold bevvies? Snowbasin has you covered! Snowbasin is fast becoming one of the preeminent ski resorts for food and beverages in the industry and these two festivals are a good reason why.

Roosters Brewing

Right on the expansive patio at Earl’s lodge will be a wide variety of tasty food options for you to choose from. Snowbasin has also rounded up an excellent selection of local beers that, along with the food, are guaranteed to keep your taste buds happy while you dance all day long.

One such local brewery, Roosters Brewing, has even sponsored commemorative mugs available for purchase. These can be refilled during the entire 2021 concert series. There is even a rumor that Snowbasin and Roosters are going to collaborate on a SnowWiesn beer that will debut at the start of the festival.

It’s Good to be Back

“We’re thrilled to bring back,” said Alan Dickerson, Director of Food and Beverage. We’re looking forward to welcoming guests with free live music and great food and drink offerings at our outdoor festivals.”

With the first event premiering this weekend, it only makes sense to get back out there and enjoy what Snowbasin has planned for you. Pay them a visit early and earn your après by hiking, biking or even mini golfing at their amazing Wildflower Mini Golf Course. Then sit back, relax and enjoy the renewal of two of the best outdoor festivals Blues, Brews & BBQ and SnowWiesn. It’s guaranteed to elevate your Sunday Funday to new heights.
