Shoutout to Vanessa Bowles for taking the initiative to encourage inclusion in the skate scene way up in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. This incredible woman started the nonprofit organization Female Skateboard Collective, which offers offers FREE lessons every Sunday morning from the local skatepark providing a safe inclusive space for females, LGBTQIA+, 2 spirited and non binary persons to learn how to skate in Thunder Bay.
