Mt. Cheeseman Ski Area in New Zealand is having a rough start to the 2021 season. The ski area has yet to open due to significantly late snowfall, and is now facing significant delays after sections of the access road were washed away in a recent rain/snow storm.

Mt. Cheeseman is located on New Zealand’s South Island near Christchurch.

We’re hoping for a speedy road recovery so Mt. Cheeseman can get this season underway! Such a bummer to see the ski area affected by one delay after the other.
