Dubai continues to add impressive flexes to its desert surroundings. Opening later this month, Dubai is now home to the world’s deepest diving pool. Called Deep Dive Dubai, divers can descend sixty meters (nearly 197 feet) underwater in a controlled water environment. You can either free dive or scuba dive in this diving pool and is available to ages ten and up. Deep Dive Dubai takes the throne away from the previous record holder, Deepspot in Poland. The water is fresh and the temperature is consistently set at thirty degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit). Some of the features that exist in the diving pool include an underwater city, caves, trees, a foosball table, random pictures of celebrities, fifty-six underwater cameras, and much more.

Dubai has built a list of odd yet impressive feats to its location in the desert of the United Arab Emirates. The city features the world’s tallest building(Burj Khalifa), an indoor ski slope(Ski Dubai), the worlds’ tallest hotel (Gevora Hotel), the world tallest infinity pool(Address Beach Resort), one of the largest malls in the world(Dubai Mall), among other crazy developed and planned projects. Deep Dive Dubai is currently doing a soft opening, and will likely open later this month.
