Glade Optics, one of the better brands in ski goggles in my opinion (I rock them most days on the mountain), put out this video showing the harsh reality of what it takes to go ski touring in Colorado in June.

The journey to reach the remaining snow pack at high elevations can be riddled with mud, running water, loose snowpack, and obstacles that can deter the fair weather skier from even attempting the ascent.

Pair that with the unpredictable snow conditions baking in the spring heat and you can end up with an all-around sufferfest. Despite the negatives, the boys over at Glade Optics were resilient and earned some turns in the late June heat. Well done.

Looked worth it to me!
