I’m not sure where I’m going to find forty-two million dollars, but this has to be my Colorado dream home. The Casteel Creek Retreat in Edwards, Colorado is only minutes away from Vail and Beaver Creek . The main building encompasses only 30,350 square feet, has eight bedrooms and ten bathrooms. There is also a 28,000 square foot recreation building, and 10,000 square feet of guest lodging. Some of the highlights on the property include an ice cream parlor, theater, cowboy saloon, spa, two hundred footbridges for majestic views, two guest houses, western town center with a sheriffs office, an endless car garage, twelve snowmobiles, three ATVs, a groomer to go into the backcountry and shred, and multiple outdoor hangout areas.

In their recreation center building, there is a swimming pool, hot tub, climbing wall, spa, indoor batting cage for baseball and other sports, indoor shooting range, massage room, a Hibachi dining room, and more. Some of the amenities outside that don’t include the majestic scenery include soccer fields, hot tubs, a pond full of fish, patios, and a playground.

Before going on sale, the property was owned by Cabletron Co-Founder Richard Levine. Cabletron Systems was a computer networking system company based in New Hampshire that was eventually dissolved. In 1991, he was named the Entrepreneur of The Year from Inc. along with his cofounder Craig Bensen. In 2001, he was a Fortune 400 member. Since retirement, he has built out this immense property where easements allow even more to be built. Consider me interested! Time to agree to a questionable mortgage loan.
