Update: Evacuations ordered for fire south of Red Lodge

The Robertson Draw Fire is currently tearing through the Custer Gallatin National Forest near Red Lodge, MT.

The fire is approximately 12 miles south of Red Lodge, and 8 miles north of Clark, WY. It has grown to 2000 acres and is 0% contained.

80 firefighters are working tirelessly to contain this dangerous fire before it reaches more populated places like Red Lodge.

Custer Gallatin National Forest has issued evacuations for communities closer to the fire.

We’re hoping for the best here at Unofficial Networks for the communities in southern Montana and northern Wyoming.

We’re also thinking about the folks over at Red Lodge Mountain Ski Area. Let’s hope the firefighters are able to contain the Robertson Draw Fire and prevent more destruction from occurring.
