The names of Okemo Mountain Resorts’ new lifts will be Evergreen Summit Express and the Quantum Six. Evergreen Summit Express is a bubbled detachable quad chairlift that is moving over from the Jackson Gore area to the site of the Green Ridge Triple. The Quantum Six is a new detachable six-pack that will replace the moving Quantum Four. With crowds being a constant problem at Okemo, especially around the Sunburst Six bubble chair, these lifts’ goal is to disperse the crowds around the mountain. A new access trail to the Evergreen Summit Express will be created this summer as well. Okemo is asking patrons to not hike around these areas this summer and fall due to it being an active construction zone.
