“Skiers on Beartooth Pass witnessed this avalanche activity on Saturday, May 29th at 2:30 p.m. It was on the Gardner Headwall and appeared to involve snow that fell last week. This snow is less likely to be unstable after a few days of melt and re-freeze, but this video is a good reminder that we need to be thinking about avalanche potential as long as there is snow to slide on. Stay safe and have fun!”
