A hang glider happened to be recording when his harness detached from his wing and sent him plummeting to the ground below.
The pilot posted the video as a lesson for other hang gliders to always ensure that their equipment is safely secured to prevent accidents like this from happening.

I could barely watch knowing that something awful was going to happen based on the title of the video.
I can’t imagine being in his position and feeling your entire body weight drop from the wing above. He’s lucky to be alive, and lucky to only have sustained some injuries to his knee.
