Killington is well-known for having the longest season in the east, and that title can be attributed to the resort’s robust snowmaking the system.

The Beast of the East isn’t afraid to blow snow in October (or April for that matter), and the Superstar Glacier has become a staple for late season turns.

Check out this video from YouTube channel Zielinskiing Steve of some Superstar laps back in June of 2019. There’s actually a surprising amount of snow still on the trail, and it looked like a blast.

I wonder how late Superstar will go this season?
