The Shane McConkey Foundation has officially declared today, March 26th, as ‘International Snowblade Day’ in honor of their legendary namesake.

The foundation has organized a fun raffle event that includes some sweet gear giveaways, and is holding a snowblade photo contest.

This year, in honor of his playful spirit and irreverent approach to not taking ourselves too seriously, the Shane McConkey Foundation declares March International Snowblade Month and March 26th International Snowblade Day. So wax up your snow blades and rally to your favorite mountain to celebrate life and pay tribute to a legend.
