Ya know that ski story that still gives you the chills every time you tell it because it reminds you just how close you were to death? Well, Olympic snowboardcross athlete Trevor Jacob has one and its a doozy. 10 years ago Trevor was riding by himself late season on a desolate section of Mammoth Mountain when he came across a rushing river. Instead of unstrapping and walking across the 10 foot gap, Trevor decided to send it.  As you might imagine it didn’t go to plan. Many lessons to be learned from Trevor’s brush with death…pay attention folks:
