Red Bull Snow just released the first episode of a new series that documents how Freeride World Tour athlete Kristofer Turdell is preparing for the FWT’s final and most celebrated event at the Bec des Rosses in Verbier.

Turdell has won at just about every stop on tour, including the world title in 2018, but has yet to win the Xtreme Verbier competition.

He aims to change that this season.

Pretty crazy that Turdell is one of the best skiers in the world, but he is still taking time to progress on the “little things”. It shows his dedication to his craft, and his desire to be the best in the world.

Red Bull Snow“Kristofer Turdell is stepping into his 6th season on the Freeride World Tour. He has won at almost all stops before, brought home the world title in 2018 and has established himself as one of the most consistent riders on the podium. But there is still one thing missing, winning the Xtreme Verbier on the legendary Bec des Rosses.

Through this series in 4 parts, we get close to Kristofer and follow his chase to conquer the mighty Bec des Rosses. From preseason preparation in the gym to action-packed skiing with other athletes and the search of fine-tuning his skills. This is the year when Kristofer is leaving no loose ends and devotes all his time in the race for the Xtreme Verbier title! Press play and ride shotgun for Kristofer Turdell’s road to Verbier. Featuring: Reine Barkered, Sverre Liliequist, Henrik Windstedt and Jackie Paaso”

I can’t wait for the following episodes to drop, and to watch the competition in late-March.

Who’s your pick to win the FWT title this season?
