Wolf Creek Ski Area was flooded with 5,000 skiers on 12/29, putting the resort at capacity, under COVID-19 guidelines for this season.

A combination of the mountain receiving more than 2 feet of snow, and the holidays, created the ‘perfect storm’ for crowded slopes.

CDOT officials reported that cars were forced to park up to a mile away from the resort due to a lack of parking spaces. The excess cars created ‘traffic hazards’. Officials warned that cars will be towed or ticketed if the violations continue to occur.
