Meet the mysterious Sonic The Snowboarder located in the mountainous western Mie Prefecture, Japan. Its origins are rather interesting. UPDATE BELOW:

UPDATE: Sonic has been restored to his former glory. Digitalmarketnews.com reports it is not known who fixed the busted Sonic but there are rumors that Sony was directly involved with the project.
