“We wanted to create something affordable, and capable and I think we’ve done it. Huge thanks to Utah Trikes for their help designing and manufacturing The Rig. We hope it brings as many miles of happiness, adventure, and exploration to you as it has done for us. Designing an affordable bike that happens to be accommodating has taken us more than a year and a half. “

About a year ago Youtube technology reviewer JerryRigEverything aka Zack Nelson welded two e-bikes together to create an “off-road wheelchair of sorts” for his then girlfriend and it was a smash hit. Cut to a year later and the happy couple is now married and selling the same basic design to the masses ($4,750). Really cool story and I’m smiling writing about it. If you’re interested in picking one up GO HERE:

Shopping for an off road wheelchair can be frustrating. There are a few different options out there, but they can cost as much as a car or are super slow. Cambry and I decided to put our heads together, and build our own off road wheelchair. Something that’s quick and light with a super long range. And we finally have it! We’d like to introduce ‘Not-a-Wheelchair’ a fully electric, super quiet, accessible bike that can go 12mph with a range of about 10-20 miles. Our whole goal is to provide something that is capable and affordable. We hope you enjoy! Be safe! Wear a helmet” BUY HERE.
