“It is with a heavy heart that we report the death of FWQ rider Hugo Hoff. Hugo was an incredibly talented skier and kind young man. He passed away yesterday after an accident in Mont Blanc massif. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.” –FWT

Terribly sad news out of the French Alps where 20-year-old French freeride skier, Hugo Hoff, died Sunday after a fall in Mont Blanc massif. Sky Sports Italy reports he fell almost 700 meters on the Couloir Gervasutti, a channel where the slope reaches 50 degrees. Hugo was an incredibly talented skier who won Freeride Junior World tour 2016-2017 and participated in FWT qualifying events to make his way on the circuit. Our deepest sympathies to Hugo’s family and friends.
