Well it didn’t take long for the first tourist to get creamed by a bison after Yellowstone reopened. A female visitor was injured in a bison attack WednesdayĀ in the Old Faithful Upper Geyser Basin. Its been reported the woman got too close to the animal andĀ was knocked to the ground and injured by a bison, marking the first bison related incident of 2020. The woman’s injuries were assessed on-site and she refused further medical treatment.

“When an animal is near a trail, boardwalk, parking lot, or in a developed area, give it space.Stay 25 yards (23 m) away from all large animals – bison, elk, bighorn sheep, deer, moose, and coyotes and at least 100 yards (91 m) away from bears and wolves.”
