Novak Djokovic started playing tennis at 4 years old and idolized Pete Sasmpras growing up in Serbia but he also had a deep passion for skiing at a young age, which seems to run in his family. When given the choice of which sport he wanted to focus on, the decision wasn’t as clear cut as you might imagine for one of the greatest tennis players of all time. Obviously, Djokovic chose the court over the slopes but to this day he spends his offtime skiing with his family and has never lost his appreciation for the sport:
