Anyone can pad up and point it down the biggest hill in town, but to hit a styled out powerslide at 30mph+ is an entirely different story. Really enjoyed the newest episode of Skate Tales hosted by Madars Apse where he travels to South America to get schooled in the downhill arts by skateboard legend Sergio Yuppie, owner of Curva de Hill skate shop in Florianópolis, Brazil. If you’re looking to improve your hill bombing skills this summer, take this advice from a dude who’s been at it for over 32 years:
“When you go skating be careful. Use your helmet, pads and gloves. Be careful with cars and respect the hill.”
