As the nation is sheltering home transfixed on Netflix’s new smash-hit documentary series Tiger King, it brought to mind an Aussie skier’s close encounter with an exotic big cat in the mountains of India a few years back. 35-year-old Owen Lansbury was skiing in Kashmir when he came upon a snow leopard huddle in deep powder. Incredibly rare encounter, so glad the GoPro was running:
