“Today we kick off the Battle At The Quarantine… because unprecedented safety measures call for an unprecedented contest. Battle At The Quarantine pits some of the world’s best skaters against each other… on their own home turfs.”

If you’ve not familar,  Battle at the Berrics is the world’s foremost flatland skateboard competition with a basketball H.O.R.S.E. style gameplay and March Madness winner moves on bracket format. Usually, the skaters go trick for trick in person in person at the Berrics facility in LA but this whole COVID-19 shutdown threw a wrench in that plan so they decided to go ahead with the competition and just have the skaters FaceTime each other. Bit grainier footage than fans might have come to expect but understandable under current conditions. Here’s one of the first battles between Chris Joslin and Carlos Ribeiro.
