A woman filmed petting a wild moose in downtown Breckenridge has been ticketed by the Colorado Parks and Wildlife for harassing wildlife. The CPW confirmed this is the same moose that has been wandering through the downtown area on several occasions in recent days. Wildlife managers want to point out that getting too close to the moose is not only dangerous for people but could end with the animal being euthanized.  This woman is mad lucky those front hooves didn’t connect, this could have gotten ugly quick:

FYI: More people are injured by moose than bears.
