Very happy to report that out of the six people who plummeted 150 feet off a snowy Colorado road early this morning, only one was hospitalized with minor injuries. The occupants of the vehicle were traveling on Old Stage Road around 2 a.m Monday morning about two miles west of Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard when their car went off the side of the road and fell about 150 feet.
The good folks at the Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to the scene and set up a rope system to rescue the six people from inside the vehicle. Remarkably only one needed to visit the hospital for minor injuries. Be safe out there all you mountain motorist, drive for the conditions, wear your seatbelt and know sometimes when its nuking its best not to drive at all:
