Very cool look into an ancient ski culture in Northern China. Residents of Hemu Village have been negotiating the local terrain on skis made of white pine specific to the area and horsehair for innumerable generations (10,000-year-old cave painting depict the same design).  Follow along with local herder, Ma Liqin, as he shows you how its done:
