A new high-speed railway line connecting Beijing and Zhangjiakou, the host city for many of the 2022 Winter Olympics sports, is now open.

The train can travel at speeds up to 350kph (217MPH) along its 174km track. At these speeds, the journey time from Beijing to Zhangjiakou was cut down from three hours to just 47 minutes.

This is just one instruction project on a long list of improvements China has committed to before the 2022 Winter Olympics.
