Mikaela Shiffrin is still unbeaten this season in slalom and her latest victory in Lienz, Austria matched Lindsey Vonn’s record for most women’s World Cup victories in a single discipline.Vail Daily reports Shiffrin earned her 43rd career slalom win Sunday by posting both of the fastest runs, beating Slovakian skier Petra Vlhova by an incredible 0.61 seconds.

Her victory puts Mikeala just three short of the overall record for most wins in a discipline held by Swedish great Ingemar Stenmark (46 GS wins between 1975-89). Shiffrin’s win also set a new high mark as she became the first skier, man or woman, to stand on the podium in 14 consecutive slalom races.
