Excellent little 6-minute video documenting Sébastien Berthe’s November ascent of The Nose on El Cap. The way these climbs playout, this could have been an hour long in-depth documentary but the Belgian climber decided to keep it concise and a bit cheeky….jacuzzi interviews with climbing helmets on. Congratulations on the accomplishment:

“On the 11th of November, Belgian climber Sébastien Berthe became only the 7th person to free climb the Nose, the world’s most famous route, on El Capitan, Yosemite. The 2,900 foot route is rated at 5.14a / 8b+. He also became the 1st person ever to free climb the route ground up…this is story.”
