When Brendan Fairclough deviated from his line and came to a complete stop on top of a giant boulder during his second competition run at Red Bull Rampage I was as confused as the announcers. At first I thought it was an equipment issue but when he dropped down and started ripping pushups I knew it was to honor the memory of his friend the late great Canadian mountain bike legend Jordie Lunn. Jordie passed away after a crash while trail riding in Mexico on October 9th but his spirit lived on through his friends today. Powerful moment. RIP Jordie.
