I was truly inspired by last week’s opening-day debacle between Arapahoe Basin and Keystone. If you’re not up to speed, here’s a quick run-down of what happened.
Keystone announced on Friday 10/11/19 that it would open the following day on 10/12/19 making it the first resort open in North America. Keystone’s neighbor’s (only ~7 miles away) A-Basin decided to swoop in and ruin Keystone’s party. A-Basin announced on Friday 10/11 that they would open that same day from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm in one of the all-time moves in ski resort history.
