South American ski resorts are ready to fire up the chairlifts and get their season underway. To help make things happen Ullr is throwing in a few feet of snow to blanket the Andes with a thick layer of white.
This storm should help most of the Southern resorts to get runs open after delayed openings due to a lack of snow. Valle Nevado, Chile has received over a foot of new snow and has another 2-feet in the forecast.Las Leñas, Argentina has announced they will be opening this weekend, and with up to 3-feet in the forecast!
