The first footage o the The Xing Feng Extreme Sports Center wave pool located in Henan Province, China has finally emerged. Construction began in February 2018 and since then progress has been pretty hush hush. The completion of the $26 million wavepool points towards China’s intention to improve their national surf team leading up to the summer games in Tokyo 2020 where competitive surfing will make its debut:
