The 2018/2019 winter has been a solid one for many ski resorts across the United States. Snowpacks are well above average for just about everywhere in the west with the exception of the Pacific Northwest.

As you can see in the map above, the Tahoe Basin has been having a particularly good winter. The snowpack to date is 177% above the median and 402% over last season.

We still have a few months to go before the winter wraps up, but the 2018/19 season will go down as a good one for most US skiers and riders.
