An inbounds avalanche at Breckenridge Resort was reported Friday afternoon. According to Charles Pitman from Summit County Search and Rescue the slide occurred around 12:39 p.m. on an expert-rated trail off the Imperial Express SuperChair. Denver 7 reports a Summit County Search and Rescue team was put on standby but no injuries or victims were reported.

A Breckenridge spokesperson said ski patrol were on scene immediately and cleared the area around 2 p.m. They have confirmed that no guests were injured.

Avalanche conditions around Colorado’s high country remain at a high level. M ore snow is expected to fall in the mountains tonight. Be safe out there Colorado skiers and snowboarders.
