Welcome to the longest consecutive ski jumping tournament in the country. The annual Suicide Hill Ski Tournament gots its start way back in the 1800’s and has continued the tradition to this day in Michigan’s UP. Competitors come from around the world to send the 90 meter jump and the ski club has produced some of the best jumpers in American history. Love the spirit up there. Very cool.

The Ishpeming Ski Club is proud to present the 132nd Annual Suicide Ski Hill Ski Jumping Tournament.

Launch into winter action by attending the longest consecutive ski jumping tournament in the country! Come watch U.S. and International ski jumpers defy gravity as they soar off of the historic 90 meter, Suicide Hill ski jump!

The tournament will be held on Tuesday, January 22nd and will take place at the Suicide Ski Bowl, located at the Ishpeming Ski Club in Negaunee, Michigan. A 5 km Nordic combined race will be held at 4:00 pm.   Ski jumping will begin with trial runs starting at 6:00 pm.

Come and enjoy this family friendly, fun for all event with an evening filled with tailgating, concessions and bonfires while watching the jumpers compete. And don’t miss out on the fireworks display at the conclusion of the tournament! Trust us, you’re gonna want to be here.

Buttons for the event are for $15 per person when purchased in advance, and $20 at the gate. Kids 12 years of age and younger are admitted free. Buttons are available for sale from Ishpeming Ski Club members, Cross-Roads Minimart Shell, Super One-Negaunee, Midtown Bakery, Wilderness Sports, Congress Pizza, Ishpeming Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame, Kassels Midway, Midway Rentals, Sports Rack, Downwind Sport and other local area outlets in Ishpeming, Negaunee and Marquette.

The Ishpeming Ski Club is a registered 501 (c) (3), nonprofit organization, which operates in order to help promote and teach the sport of ski jumping and to help secure the rich Nordic skiing heritage that exists here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
