In a characteristically self-indulgent Instagram post this morning, U.S. skiing legend Lindsey Vonn announced her return to the sport with a hype vid concluding with the words “I’m not done yet.”
Vonn’s coach hinted a few week’s back that she would soon return to pursue the record of another legend, Austrian Ingemar Stenmark. It now appears that her return will happen this weekend for FIS Alpine World Cup downhill and super-G events in St. Anton am Arlberg, Austria, reports the Associated Press.

Vonn is six victories from sole possession of the record for winningest skier of all time. Meanwhile, her U.S. Ski and Snowboard teammate and 11 year junior Mikaela Shiffrin continues to make her own case for entrance into the pantheon of American greats.
