This is about as close as I’d ever want to get to one of Alex Honnold’s free solo climbs. To promote the premiere of his new film project Alex set up a VR installation at The Cliffs Climbing Gym in New York to let people get an idea of what it feels like to scale a monster like El Cap sans ropes…its probably scarier than you think.
