Alterra officials announced this morning they will also be adding the Summit at Snoqualmie in Washington, Cypress Mountain in BC, not to mention Boyne Highlands & Boyne Mountain in Michigan.

Like Brighton and Taos, those with the Ikon Pass will be able to ski 7 days at the following resorts while Ikon Base Pass holders will get 5 days with 10 blackout dates.

“For 70 years Boyne Resorts has been guided by a focus to create memorable experiences for our guests and we are deeply committed to maintaining the individual character of each of our destinations. This is what the Ikon Pass is about, so we are thrilled to add our Pacific Northwest and Midwest destinations to the Ikon Pass community.”  – Stephen Kircher, President and CEO, Boyne Resorts

In addition to the added ski areas, the Ikon Pass up’ed the access at its resorts in the Northeast to boot. Previously east coast skiers got a combined 7 days to use at three locations: Loon, Sugarloaf and Sunday River. Now each location will get 7-day access with Base Pass holders getting the standardized 5 days with blackouts.
