16 year old Jordan Holgerson sustained five broken ribs, an injured trachea, a bruised esophagus and air trapped in the lining of her lungs after being pushed off a 60ft bridge in Washington by her “friend” and now the pusher may face criminal charges. Jordan was interviewed by NBC News where she said this:

“At first I didn’t really want Taylor to get in trouble, but now that I’ve thought about it more, I’m kind of wanting her to sit in jail and think about at least what she did.”

The pusher is 18 year old Taylor Smith who had this to say when interviewed on Morning America:

“She wanted to jump and she was scared and she had asked me to give her a push and I didn’t think about the consequences, I thought she would be fine. I love that girl. I never intended to hurt her, ever. I’m really sorry it turned out that way.”

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office has investigated the bridge pushing incident and has forwarded the case to the prosecutor’s office. The prosecutor’s off will decide whether to file charges against Smith.
