Loveland ski area is holding a contest to name their new lift. The new high-speed detachable quad will be the ski area’s first high-speed lift.
The deadline to enter is July 16. Participants can submit multiple entries. The winner gets either a season pass for the 2018/19 season or a chair from the old Lift 1.
If you haven’t already heard, Loveland Ski Area is replacing Lift 1 with a high-speed detachable quad from Leitner-Poma this summer. The old lift has been removed and we are currently digging holes for the new towers. There is still a lot of work left to do, so stay tuned to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates. It will be ready to go on Opening Day of the 2018/19 season!
What should we call this new lift? We have a few ideas, but would love to hear from some loyal Lovelanders!
